How long should the articles (reviews) be?
At least 500 words. If it’s a random article then 500 words total and if it is a review article then neglect word count of film/TV information. Word count should be 500 after neglecting info. Note that this is not a strict requirement. Anywhere around 500 is fine but try to keep it at least above 500.
Also, lengthier articles are better but not too lengthy. Keep people’s attention span in mind. Maximum limit depends on you or….editor.

How should they deal with images (where to find, copyright, etc)?

Anything else that goes along with what you are trying to accomplish.
By doing this, you will increase the chances of having content that suits your blog and that has a relatively consistent quality.
